Handmade in Ottawa

I started weaving for fun - and it quickly took over my life. I often describe it to friends like reading a really good book. Once I start, I just can't put it down.

Each piece I make is unique. Below is a selection of my work that is for sale.

All of the pieces are named after Parks in Canada ūüá®ūüá¶

Sold Pieces

This was my first dip dye project! I wove thick cotton rope to create a border, and added long rya knots for the fringe. The rope sat in blue dye for an extended period of time to create the slight gradient effect.

This piece was created for a friend to brighten up her office! It's my largest piece to date. Although it looks quite simple at first, the pattern throughout was quite time consuming.

This one really isn't sold - I actually have it hanging in my living room! I love the texture of the brown alpaca wool so much, and the double fringe is almost enough fringe for my liking.

I currently ship my wall tapestries within Canada ūüá®ūüá¶
